I am 14 years old & I took my pony Majesty’s Choice to camp with me. I was in one of the groups trained by Claire Rushworth. In our lessons we covered flat work, poles work/ grid work & teaching the ponies to jump properly!
Our team came 9th out of 12!, but our team jumped the metre section, which not all teams did.
I really enjoyed the team building, as I made new friends and it got us all closer to the people who were in our teams. And of course the competition!!

Chris Roberts
I rode my pony Crystal at Camp. Claire Rushworth trained my group, we worked lots on straightness, balance and control. I learnt so much and Claire gave all of us all loads to work on when we got home. I enjoyed all the training but also found the lectures really interesting and loved the team building. Unfortunately I was eliminated in first round of the comp but learnt loads and went back in and managed to get round in the next round so was really pleased. It was an amazing experience and we can't thank everyone enough for their hard work putting it all together.

Ella Garlik
I am 9 years old & I went to Camp on my pony Mandy, I have had her for 4 years. Jonathan Bowman trained my group, we had great fun and liked Jonathan. We learnt a lot about control when jumping our ponies. I had two clear rounds, but we did not do very well in the competition as a team. I loved making all new friends, Harriet, Maisy, Georgia and Alice. The team games were great fun. I will look forward to next year.

Georgia Sykes
I am 12 years old & I went to Camp on my pony Benny Banassi. I was in one of the groups trained by Claire Rushworth. In our lesson we did lots of flatwork to get the correct approach to fence including polework, and then jumping courses. I jumped double clear in the Competition. The training was really good and it helped because I had a new pony, the competition in teams was great fun, Claire was really good and the rosettes were fab. Good fun few days...

Tegan Rowlands
I am 6 years old & I went to Camp with my pony Hot Chilli Pepper. My group was trained by Claire Rushworth, in our lesson we were taught about control, lines to fences & how to ride corners. I went double clear in the competition on Saturday but unfortunately my other team members didn’t so we ended up 12th. I really enjoyed the competition, my training sessions with Claire & playing with my friends. Many thanks for all the hard work that was put into organising the Camp. We has a really lovely time & can’t wait for next year!!
